Aunty! I met someone today.. and Aikaan told the whole story. “I’m worried if he is the right guy for me, or if he is even serious.”
Should I give him a chance or not?
Aunt tasbeel took a deep breath and taught Aikaan a lesson for life :

Look Aikaan only once in your life, I can say that you can find someone who can completely turn your world around. You tell them things that you’ve never told another soul and they listen to everything you say and actually want you to say more and want to hear more. You share hopes for the future, dreams that might never ever come true, goals that were never achieved, and the many disappointments life has thrown at you till today. When something really wonderful happens, you can’t wait to tell them about it, knowing that they are surely going to share your excitement. ( Aikan was considering her lesson as the lesson for life time)

They are never embarrassed to give you a shoulder when you cry or when you are feeling sad or upset or laugh with you when you make a fool of yourself. They never ever hurt your feelings or make you feel like you are not good enough, but rather they build you up and show you the things about yourself that make you special and even way more beautiful than you already are.

There is never any pressure, jealousy, or competition but only a quiet calmness when they are around you. You can be yourself and you don’t have to worry about what they will think of you because they love you for who you are. The things that seem unimportant to most people such as a note, song, or a long walk in a park become invaluable treasures kept safe in your heart to remember and enjoy forever. Colors seem brighter and richer. Laughter looks like a part of daily life where before it was infrequent or didn’t even exist at all in your life.

When they are around, there’s no need for continuous conversation, but you find you’re quite content in just having them nearby. Things that never interested you before become fascinating because you know they are important to this person who is really very special to you. You think of this person on every occasion and in every single thing that you do. You still open your heart even knowing that there’s a chance it may be broken one day and while you are opening your heart, you experience a love and joy that you never dreamed even was possible.

You find that being vulnerable is the only way to allow your heart to feel this true pleasure that’s so real it sometimes scares you a lot. You find strength in knowing you have a true friend and possibly a soul mate who will remain loyal till the end of times. Life seems completely different, exciting, and worth living. Your only hope and security are in knowing that they are a part of your this world life and hereafter as well.” ( She needed all lessons, a lesson for life, a lesson for wisdom, the lesson about love, a lesson

Aikaan had tears in her eyes while listening to the lesson of love. She hugged her and cried her heart out. aunty, you already know what happened with me 2 years back. I’m not in the state of finding out what’s right or wrong for me anymore.. I need time, a lot of time to forget it or maybe I need a lifetime to forget my past. ( she remembered her past at that time she didn’t find any lesson for love or wisdom)
Aunty patted her shoulder and kissed her forehead My sweetheart erases these thoughts from your head and lets them go with the flow. Just go outside and inhale fresh air and feed my hens and ducks. I’ll bring you coffee on the lawn.
Aikaan wiped her tears off and went out into the garden.
The farm looked like a blossom bud upon a cherry wand, opening into the stronger light and the cold of the winter season.

She sat on the cozy chair in the garden and felt relaxed.. she closed her eyes and leaned her back on the chair.

Aikaan was getting ready for her engagement happily. She was the happiest girl on earth today as she was getting engaged to her one true love. Adam kept teasing her that she isn’t looking good and Rushaan kept scolding him to zip his mouth. Aikaan’s parents were also really busy decorating the house and receiving guests. Everybody was happy and most of all Aikaan. She was looking very pretty. She was very pretty and her body was like a crystal clear mountain river of skin flowing over rocks of bone and beautiful hidden nerves. Her dress was even prettier.. everything was ready. All the arrangements were done and everyone was waiting for Hassan’s family to arrive. Guests had already arrived. Two hours were already passed but no news from Hassan’s family that when are they arriving and how much longer will they take while Aikaan’s family was anxiously waiting for them.

Aunt Tasbeel brought coffee and Aikaan woke up from her daydream and took refreshing coffee while observing the beauty of the farm of aunt tasbeel. She kept looking at the beauty of these wonderful trees, flowers, leaves that made our life beautiful and observed peace and silence in these moments and this was the beauty of Aunt Tasbeel’s company and house. She felt at peace here always and learned lessons for life from her aunt.

Aikaan received a text from an unknown number. She was tired and sitting on the couch beside her mother having tea. It clicked her after a moment that it may be that same coffee shop boy whose name she didn’t even ask.

(Hey.
Whose there?)

(Faaris.)

(Who Faris?)

(You met me today at the coffee shop.)

Aikaan powered off her cell phone and kept it aside. Now she was regretting that why did she even give her contact number to Faris.
So faaris is the name. She thought to herself and resumed talking to her mother. ( she had learned all the lessons about love from aunt Tasbeel. Tasbeel was a good teacher who has lesson for love through her experience.
