Nepali climbers have made history by climbing the world’s second-highest peak, K2 in the winter.

Thirteen of the world’s 14 highest peaks were topped in the winter, and K2 mountain is the only peak in the world that has not been topped in the winter. But now the climbers have made history by completing this extremely difficult stage.

A team of 10 Nepalese climbers spent the night of January 15 in Camp Three at minus 50 degrees, after which the team left for Camp 4 at one o’clock in the night. Gilgit-Baltistan local journalist Jamil Nagri confirmed in his tweet that Nepali climbers made history by climbing cold K2 weather in winter.
